Welcome to the WOVENPOP Blog
By María Victoria de Wovenpop
Hi there! If you're reading this, you've already found one of my favorite corners of the internet.
This blog was born from a very real need: every week, crocheters write to me with the same questions. What yarn should I use for amigurumi? How do I keep my stitches tight? How long does it take to make a little doll?
Instead of answering one by one, I decided to create a space where I could share everything I've learned — and everything I'm still learning — about the art of crocheting amigurumis.
What you'll find here
Practical guides
Step-by-step articles on techniques, materials, and methods. No unnecessary jargon. In plain human language.
Tips from someone who already made the mistakes for you
I've unraveled more projects than I care to admit. All of that became experience, and that experience lives here, free, so you don't have to repeat my errors.
Stories from our community
Because nothing excites me more than seeing someone finish their first little doll. If you crocheted something with a WOVENPOP pattern, send me a photo — you might appear here!
Who this blog is for
For you, who already knows the basic stitches (chain, single crochet, increases, and decreases) and wants to create something more complex. For you, who has questions but doesn't know who to ask.
This isn't a blog for absolute beginners — for that, there's Instagram, where I answer direct messages 🧶
A heads up
I'm publishing articles gradually. If there's a topic you'd like me to cover, write to me on Instagram. Your questions are literally the best content I can create.
See you soon! 💜
